In June, a similar robbery was reported at the Omega jewelry and watch boutique, according to the Daily Tribune. In that incident, two men are accused of pulling a small hammer from a bag, smashing the display case and fleeing with five watches with a combined value of about $100,000. That case is also still under investigation.
