Somerset Collection Puts Out Open Call To Models
Participants chosen to be models will represent Somerset Collection at fashion shows and exclusive events.
Somerset Collection is calling on runway stars and aspiring models this weekend to enter in a three-day model search being held in the mall's North Grand Court.
The event, which runs Friday through Sunday, is an open call to find models for its fashion shows, in-store events and other promotions. The mall is looking for a few new faces and anyone from the Metro Detroit area is invited to enter.
“If you are chosen to be a model, you know you really belong here," said Somerset spokeswoman Stephanie Forbes.
“There is so much Somerset is doing at the collection and in Detroit, and we want new faces to be seen and showcased for our upcoming events.”

Forbes said models will represent the mall's high-end fashion and cutting-edge design trends at shows around the area. “We are also on the search for great models who are Made in Detroit," she said.

The search is open to women and men who are 17 or older. Modeling experience isn't necessary. However, potential male models must be at least 5-feet 10-inches tall. Women must be at least 5-feet 9-inches tall. Entry is free, but models are asked to bring a (non-returnable) photo. Women are asked to bring a pair of heels.
