Stabbing Leaves 2 Dead, 1 Injured In Shelby Twp: Police

Police have not identified a suspect and continue the investigation.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — Two people were killed and another critically injured in a triple stabbing inside a Shelby Township home Sunday morning, according to police.

Officers said they found a 40-year-old man dead from multiple stab wounds, and a 62-year-old woman and 63-year-old man stabbed multiple times at a home on Woodall Road, just south of Auburn Road and east of Ryan Road.

Both injured victims were transported to a local hospital were the man died and the woman remains in critical but stable condition, police said.

Authorities are investigating the incident and said there is no threat to the public.
