STERLING HEIGHTS, MI — Two people were arrested after leading police on a chase through Sterling Heights, while planning to distribute over $350,000 in drugs into the city, police said.
Police tried to stop a BMW with tinted windows that was driving north on Van Dyke Avenue near 14 Mile Road around 5:50 p.m. on April 8, officials said.
The car sped away from police and turned into a subdivision with no outlet, police said. That's when officers said the two jumped out of the car and ran. Officers caught the driver and passenger after a short foot chase, police said.
