'Terrible Ted' Lindsay Cements His Future as a Detroit Legend

Hockey Hall-of-Famer Ted Lindsay cast his hand prints and signature in cement on Monday at the for the Detroit Historical Society's Detroit Legends Plaza.

The plaza, which is located in downtown Detroit at the Detroit Historical Museum, will feature the hand prints and signatures of Detroit legends of sports, media, entertainment and music. The plaza is part of the Society's $20.1 million Past>Forward campaign.

Often referred to as "Terrible Ted," Lindsay played at left wing for the Detroit Red Wings, and was a member of the team's "Production Line," along with Sid Abel and Gordie Howe. The line helped lead the Red Wings to seven straight league titles and four Stanley Cups from 1948 to 1955.
