Troy Police Looking For Ex-Tiger's Classic Car That Was Stolen From His Home: Reports

A classic car owned by Detroit Tigers broadcaster Craig Monroe was stolen Saturday night from his garage in Troy, multiple reports said.

TROY, MI — A classic car owned by Detroit Tigers broadcaster Craig Monroe was stolen Saturday night from his garage in Troy, multiple reports said.

Monroe told police his 1970 Chevy Chevelle Coupe SS was taken Saturday night from his home, reports said. The car is silver with white leather interior, officials said.

Monroe is the Detroit Tigers broadcaster and analyst on Bally's Sports Detroit, which airs most of the Tigers' games. Monroe also played six seasons for the Tigers, including the 2006 team that made the World Series.
