Watch your yards carefully in coming weeks. A flock of festive pink flamingos has been spotted in Troy and you may wake up one morning to find they've roosted in your neighborhood!
Aided by the Troy Athens Band, flocks of pink flamingos secretly land in a yard under the cover of darkness. They come complete with care instructions for the “flockee” and information on how to send the flock somewhere else. (After a long winter of rest, the birds are now able to land in yards outside of Troy.) Don’t worry: professional flamingo handlers will remove the flock in a day or two.
Flamingos are great for celebrating birthdays, graduations, anniversaries--or just to brighten someone's day!
