The Troy Athens Red Hawk Marching Band completed its regular 2015 competitive marching season with an amazing, crowd-pleasing performance of its show "Blast Off! An Adventure in Space" at Lakeland High School on October 31 and a First Place finish in Flight I competition. Along with a season high score of 92.100 and a First Place trophy, the band also received an Outstanding Visual Performance award. The Red Hawks are currently ranked 6th in the state and will head to Ford Field on Saturday, November 7 for State Finals. The Red Hawk Marching Band will also compete at the "Bands of America" Grand National championships on November 12 in Indianapolis.
