Troy Bank Robbery Suspect Held on $250K Bond

TROY, MI – A man accused of robbing a Troy bank location has been arraigned on bank robbery charges in connection with a Jan. 7 bank robbery.

Robert Perry, 36, of Dryden, allegedly entered a Best Bank location at the Kroger store in the 3100 block of John R Road and presented the teller with a note demanding money, Troy police said.

He was located the next day, based on information developed with the Madison Heights Police Department, in cooperation with the FBI, Oakland County Violent Gangs and Crime Task Force, and Michigan Department of Corrections, WWJ reports.

Perry’s bond was set at $250,000 cash/surety, and he remains in the Oakland County Jail, according to jail records.
