Troy Community Chorus to Perform “A Night at the Movies” Spring Concert

The Troy Community Chorus (TCC), under the direction of Sheryl Hauk and accompanied by Min Sook Chung, will present its Spring Concert “A Night at the Movies” on Sunday, May 3, 3:00 pm at Athens High School, located at 4333 John R Road in Troy.The concert features a mix of song selections from Hollywood movies across the decades, such as Hooray for Hollywood, A Million Dreams, The James Bond Theme, to name a few. Additionally, the 2026 recipient of the TCC Shirley Darge Memorial Vocal Music Scholarship, Lana Lanzanas, a senior at Athens High School, will be performing.

Advance tickets are $12 for patrons ages 13 – 62, $10 for seniors and children ages 6 – 12, and children under age five are admitted free of charge. Tickets are also available at the door for $15 each.

Founded in 1978, the Troy Community Chorus is a 100+ adult member 4-part harmony SATB choir from across the metropolitan Detroit area who love to sing, want to develop their vocal skills and have fun in the process.
