Troy Foundation for Educational Excellence Hosts Holiday Bookfair

The Troy Foundation for Educational Excellence---a non-profit organization that raises money throughout the year in order to provide financial assistance to various school programs within the Troy School District—is hosting their annual Barnes & Noble Bookfair and Fundraiser.

Stop by the Barnes & Noble at 396 John R. Rd. in Troy on Tuesday, December 11, from 4 – 8 pm to read, shop, snack and get into the holiday spirit. There will even be performances by musical groups including the Troy Fiddlers, Larson Band small ensembles and the Morse Mustangs Violin Club.

A portion of the proceeds from each purchase (and from the sale of refreshments in the B&N Café) will go to the TFEE, which in turn goes directly into our classrooms in the form of teacher grants. So far this year, over $67,000 has been awarded via single and multi-teacher grants that will impact 170 classrooms across the district.

Be sure to mention TFEE (ID number 12380507) at the register. Or shop from home at BN.com/bookfairs, ID 12380507 at checkout. For more information, or to download the flier, visit https://www.troyfoundation.org/book-fair.html.
