Gina Moy, junior at Troy High School, was recently selected to participate in The Juilliard School’s prestigious Summer Percussion Seminar. After reviewing comprehensive applications consisting of a resume, repertoire list, and videos of 4-mallet, 2-mallet, timpani and snare, Juilliard selects only 16 advanced high school percussionists into their long-running two-week percussion intensive.
Set in the exciting cultural environment of New York’s Lincoln Center, the Seminar participants experience a challenging range of master classes, clinics, lectures, rehearsals and performances led by a world-renowned faculty from Juilliard, University of Michigan, Boston Conservatory, New York Philharmonic, NY City Ballet Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Vermont Symphony and the Silk Road Ensemble.
