Troy High Student Named Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship Semifinalist
Troy High Senior Freddie Zhao has been named a semifinalist for the 2019 Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Zhao was selected from among 200,000+ applications nationwide for their outstanding commitment to both their communities and schools.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 30th class in 2018, the Foundation has provided over 6,000 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $66 million in educational support since 1988.

Zhao will compete to move up to the finalist category, where if selected, he will be eligible to win one of 150 scholarships of $20,000 awarded each year.
