Troy Historic Village Receives $21,000 Grant.

In addition to Village, funds will go to outreach programs for elementary students.

(Nov. 14, 2016) TROY, MI— A $21,000 grant to Troy Historical Society will be fund outreach history programs with Troy elementary students at the city owned Troy Historic Village. The Troy Times reported the grant was awarded by the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs in a competitive program that attracted 300 other applicants.

The Troy Historic Village is located at 60 W. Wattles Road. For information about field trips to the Troy Historic Village, outreach programs or volunteer opportunities, visit TroyHistoricVillage.org.
