Troy Man in Critical Condition After Stabbing

Police said the man was stabbed multiple times, but was able to give the name of his alleged attacker, who was arrested.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 23-year-old Troy man is in critical condition at McLaren Macomb Hospital after he was stabbed multiple times Tuesday night in a altercation outside a popular Clinton Township brew pub parking lot, police said.

Police responding to the The Great Baraboo Brewing Co., 35905 Utica Road, about 9 p.m. Tuesday found employees of the establishment holding towels over the man’s wounds to try to stop the bleeding, the Clinton Township Police Department said in a news release.

The victim was conscious and told police that he was stabbed by a 30-year-old Clinton Township man, who was arrested at his residence a short time later. His name has not been released pending the authorization of charges by the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, the release said.

Police said the stabbing occurred during a dispute in the parking lot near Great Baraboo. The victim walked to the front of the brew pub, where he collapsed, according to the release.
