RUNNERS: On Your Mark, Get Set … Make Music! VIRTUALLY!

Keep the music playing—by going on a run! Help support Troy High School’s award winning Orchestras by participating in their 10th Annual Troy High School Orchestra (Virtual) 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser. This year, to ensure safety during Covid, the event will be virtual. Simply register, pick a 5K route, and get moving anytime until Sunday, October 4. During this challenging year, your racing will support the musical endeavors of our orchestras, directed by our nationally acclaimed conductor, Director Alan MacNair. Registration costs $25/runner, or $20/runner when signing up with friends and/or family, and includes a student-designed t-shirt, available at Troy High School on October 3, between 10 am and 2 pm. All proceeds will support the operating expenses of our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Orchestra Association of Troy High (OATH). Notes Director MacNair “ We may not be able to meet at one place this fall, but we can still join together for a great cause and have fun doing it! Our virtual 5-K will give our Troy High Orchestra community the opportunity to get out and be active, share our experiences, and work toward the common goal of supporting our Troy High Orchestra students. They may just be high school musicians, but they are dedicated to our program, and deserve the support of the Troy community. Come and join us for the fun, the exercise, and a great cause!” Register for the race online NOW until September 30 at https://forms.gle/UDUMEKGPB9NzYz2i6. More details can be found at www.troyhighorchestra.org, or contact William Wang at mfshwang@gmail.com.
