Troy Police Assist in Sting, Arrest of Suspected Prostitute
Police allege Zachary Connors was soliciting clients on social media and operating out of the Seville Motel in Royal Oak.

TROY, MI – Investigators from Troy assisted last week in an undercover sting that resulted in the arrest of a suspected prostitute working out of a Royal Oak motel.
suspect, Zachary Connors, 38, was arrested after an undercover officer posed as a client and met the suspect at the Seville Motel, 28300 Woodward. Connors allegedly used social media to solicit clients, Royal Oak police said in a statement.

After the meet-up, investigators located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the room Connors had rented, police said. The Troy Special Investigations Unit assisted Royal Oak police in the investigation, launched after authorities received a tip about the alleged illegal activity at the motel.
Connors was charged with prostitution, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned in 44th District Court before Judge James Wittenberg, who set bond at $10,000.

His next court appearance is 9 a.m. on March 4 in 44th District Court.
