Troy Police Seize Pot, Cocaine, LSD and Narcotics in Traffic Stop
A strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle, and police also spied an overturned Frisbee with marijuana in it.

TROY, MI — Troy police said Tuesday that an overturned Frisbee containing "suspected marijuana particles" and the "odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle" during a traffic stop Sunday provided authorities probable cause to search a 23-year-old Portage man's vehicle and seize an undisclosed amount of marijuana, LSD, cocaine and prescription drugs.
Police conducted the search after spotting the man's 2006 Pontiac GS driving erratically on eastbound East Big River Road (16 Mile), west of John R., around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
The driver and his passenger, a 21-year-old female, allegedly admitted they had smoked pot within the past hour. Both performed poorly on sobriety tests, according to the release.

Police said in the news release that aa subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a yellow pot pipe on the passenger floorboard, as well as a black box in the back seat that contained a bag of cocaine, a bag of "narcotic mushrooms," a pot grinder, a scale and "several strips of paper believed to contain LSD.
A search of the passenger's purse revealed five Adderall pills, a Schedule II narcotic, police said. She was arrested on possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of prescription drugs and marijuana use.

The driver was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of an imitation controlled substance (for the LSD), and, pending laboratory results, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of narcotics.
