Troy Synchronized Swimmers to Compete at 2018 National Synchronized Swimming Junior Olympic Championships

Troy Synchronized Swimmers to Compete at 2018 National Synchronized Swimming Junior Olympic Championships

Eleven (11) local synchronized swimmers will compete at the 2018 National Synchronized Swimming Junior Olympic Championships to be held in Oxford, OH from June 23-June 27, 2018. These swimmers represent the Troy Synchro Sharkettes that practice at Athens High School in Troy, MI and the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center in Livonia, MI. The 2018 National Synchronized Swimming Junior Olympic Championships will be attended by swimmers from all 50 states and is expected to attract thousands of competitors. Those who will be competing in the 2018 National Synchronized Swimming Junior Olympic Championships are:

  • Isabella Balza (Oakland Twp.) 13-15 Duet, 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Victoria Balza (Oakland Twp.) 13-15 Duet, 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Daniela Basabe (Detroit) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Charlotte Boehm (Livonia) 12-U Duet and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Elisa DeDonno (Troy) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Sonia DeDonno (Troy) 12-U Duet and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Ana Sofia Hernandez (Troy) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Polina Norris (Farmington Hills) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Lauren Prebay (Lake Orion) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Madison Seipelt ( Ann Arbor) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine
  • Reem Siddiqui (Bloomfield Hills) 13-15 Team and 13-15 Combination Routine

This event is sanctioned by United States Synchronized Swimming. (USA Synchro). USA Synchro is recognized by the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) and United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States.
