Troy Theatre Ensemble Receives National Recognition
The Troy Theatre Ensemble, Troy High School’s award-winning theatre troupe, has recently been recognized by the 13th Annual National Arts Youth Arts Awards for last school years’ performances (2017-18) of Picnic and The Addams Family. Based on their submission of video recordings of the shows, three awards were received for the following categories:
Lead Performance in a Play: Sean Hodges as Hal Carter in Picnic

Eight nominations were for the following:
Outstanding Production: The Addams Family
Lead Performance in a Musical: Sean Hodges as Gomez in The Addams Family
Lead Performance in a Musical: Chloe Theodoridis as Morticia in The Addams Family
Lead Performance in a Play: SteFannie Savoy as Flo Owens in Picnic
Ensemble: Picnic
Costume Design: Michael A. Gravame for The Addams Family
Set Design: Steve Brokenshire for The Addams Family
Direction: Rick Bodick for The Addams Family
