The impact of the crash caused the jeep to also strike a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that was stopped at the traffic light on eastbound Auburn Road, waiting to turn onto southbound Adams Road, officials said.
The driver of the Cruze, a 28-year-old woman from Pontiac, refused medial treatment at the scene, officials said.
Officials determined everyone was wearing their seatbelts and don't believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation, officials said.
