Upscale Jewelry Designer and Appraiser Reunite to Open New Store in Troy

After years of working together at Jules R. Schubot Jewelers, jewelry designer Joe Campanelli and gemologist Bradley Pear have combined their talents to launch their own venture at the Big Beaver location where they were once employed.

Jules R. Schubot Jewelers closed its Troy location in 2010 after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy, as reported by Crain's Detroit Business. Brian Schubot since opened  in Birmingham.

Campanelli & Pear, the newly-remodeled and expanded state-of-the-art repair and manufacturing facility and gem laboratory at 3001 W. Big Beaver was designed to create custom-made jewelry. The new store also provides a full range of appraisal services and reports reflecting the gem and metal markets.

Campanelli & Pear also provides a variety of services, including cleaning and checking of jewelry and watches, repair and restoration by a master craftsman, and accurate appraisals from a certified appraiser and gemologist. The new location also offers purchase, brokerage and consignment options as well as precious metal recycling.

Campanelli & Pear is located at 3001 West Big Beaver Road, Suite 112, in Troy, Michigan.  The store is open Monday-Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
