Woman Found Drunk, Passed Out Behind Wheel At Troy Home: Police
The woman was found by police passed out in a car parked at a Troy residence she had no connection with.
TROY, MI — A suspected drunk driver was arrested in Troy after police found her passed out in the driver seat in a driveway of a Troy home, police said.
The 29-year-old Clinton Township woman was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and open intoxicant in a vehicle, police said.
Officers said the woman was swerving on the road before she parked her car at the residence on Dequindre Road and Wagonwheel Drive, on Jan. 25 at 7:18 p.m.

As officers approached the woman, who was slumped over and appeared unconscious, they immediately noted her eyes were bloodshot and glassy, her speech was slurred, and there was a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle, police said.
The woman told officers she was coming from "multiple baby showers," police said. Officers also determined she had no connection to the residence whose driveway she was parked in and did not know where she was.

The woman failed several several sobriety tests and blew a preliminary breath test at .143 percent, police said. She was transported to the Troy Police Lock-Up Facility where she submitted a Chemical Breath Test with results of .12% and .13%, police said.
