• Weidman man wins $250,000 Powerball prize (wnem.com) — A Weidman resident just turned a quick Powerball stop at the Weidman EZ Mart on North Woodruff Road into a $250,000 win. Sixty-seven-year-old Thomas Pyrett matched four white balls plus the Powerball in the Sept. 23 drawing and plans to pay off his house and save the rest.
