Power Restored by DTE Energy in West Bloomfield

The power temporarily went out around 11 p.m. Wednesday for 2,836 DTE Energy customers in southern West Bloomfield.

By 11 p.m. Thursday night, all of the lights were back on in West Bloomfield.

The online DTE Energy map indicated that the power came back on at 4:15 p.m. Thursday for a group of 730 customers north of Maple Road and south of Lone Pine Road, east of Drake Road and west of Middlebelt Road. That group was effected by a Wednesday night, the cause being heavy rainfall, according to DTE Energy.

The power returned around 11 p.m. for two groups combining 159 customers together just north of 14 Mile Road and Northwestern Highway, west of Middlebelt Road. The power also returned for smaller pockets around the township.
