Beloved Detroit Area Arcade, Museum Reopening 'Very Soon,' Owner Says

WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is planning to open its new location in a West Bloomfield Township soon.

The beloved arcade and memorabilia museum will reopen "VERY soon," in "weeks not months," in its new space, which is the former Sav-On Drugs at Orchard Mall on Orchard Lake Road just north of Maple.

The new space is nearly three times larger than it's old location in Farmington Hills.

Owner Jeremy Yagoda said he will have an exact reopening date once inspections are completed.

"I'm so excited about the opportunity we have been given to bring you all a bigger (Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum)," Yagoda said.

The museum was forced to move from its longtime Farmington Hills location (Hunter's Square) after city officials approved a plan to redevelop the space in 2023.

Crews have begun construction on the project, which will include a smaller-scale Meijer store.
