City of Wixom & Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce to Host Job Fair
A Job Fair & Career Exploration Event will be held on October 17 at the Wixom Community Center in Wixom.
The City of Wixom and the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the West Oakland Regional Job Fair to assist area employers in finding qualified candidates to fill open positions in a wide variety of areas. Job recruiters will be on site seeking engineers, sales associates, maintenance technicians, cashiers, servers, construction laborers, mechanics and candidates in other industries. The Job Fair is also focused on helping local job seekers to find good jobs near their homes, and to allow job seekers to talk with employers and explore career options.
The Job Fair will be held at the Wixom Community Center from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. The Community Center is located at 49015 Pontiac Trail, Wixom, MI 48393.
The Lakes Area Chamber is encouraging its member companies to exhibit at the event. Exhibit space is also being offered to non-members and includes a one year chamber membership.
