Don’t expect to hear from former Flint Emergency Manager Darnell Earley, who shrugged off a subpoena to appear before the committee.

Earley approved action in 2014 that switched the city’s water supply from Lake Huron to more corrosive water from Flint River. Lead leached from pipes, exposing an unknown number of children and adults to lead poisoning, which can cause irreversible brain damage in children.
