1 Dead In Oakland County Crash: Police
Police said a pickup truck struck a motorcyclist Friday morning in Pontiac.
PONTIAC, MI — A motorcyclist was killed Friday morning in a Pontiac crash, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
Kirt Stalker, 70, of White Lake Township, was riding a 2018 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle east on East Huron Street near northbound Woodward Avenue at 7:46 a.m. when he was struck by a 2016 GMC Canyon, officials said.
Officials said the pickup truck was also driving east, adjacent to the motorcycle, on East Huron Street where the driver turned into and hit Stalker, who was wearing a helmet.

Stalker was killed in the crash, officials said.
Police believe the driver of the pickup truck, a 29-year-old Waterford woman, was driving drunk. Police took a blood sample from her and are waiting for the results, officials said.

The woman nor a 15-year-old passenger in the pickup truck were injured in the crash, officials said. Police believe both of them were wearing their seatbelts.
Officials were still investigating the crash.
