Community Update

On March 18th Faith in Action of Oakland County will have a wonderful family fundraiser to help us raise the awareness of thousands of low income elderly and disabled people throughout Oakland County who are living alone. This will be our 5th Annual Bogie Lake Greenhouse fundraiser, located at 1525 Bogie Lake Rd. in White Lake.
The event will be featuring:
1. Lakeland High School Jazz Band
2. Swing City Big Band – wonderful music, large floor space for those who love to dance
3. Free Dance Lessons by Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Bloomfield.
4. Our Annual competition of the Assisted Living Chefs
5. FREE BEER AND WINE TASTING
6. Any type of food and all of the food you would ever want to eat
7. Vendors of all kinds- business and crafters (IF you know of a crafter or business who would want to be involved the tables are only $50 and are tax deductible)
8. AND for the children, -Demonstrations from the Leader Dog program, Home Depot building table, Skull Island Camp
9. Raffle Prizes, Silent Auction and Wear Your Best St. Patrick’s Day Green and win a Green Prize
10. ALL FOR A REASONABLE COST: $27 per person, $250 for groups of 10, Children under 10 yrs. FREE, Older Adolescents $20 and Seniors $15
