Alpine Valley Ski Resort to Open Wednesday Afternoon

The cold temperatures have allowed the White Lake business to make enough snow to kick off the 2012-2013 ski and snowboard season.

Alpine Valley Ski Resort will open for business Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 3 p.m., according the Alpine Valley website.

"Mother Nature has blessed us with the temps we need to get things started for the 2012/2013 season," the site says. "We will be opening Wednesday afternoon 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. with up to twp chairs open (chairs 4 and 5)."

Lift tickets will be $20 for opening day. Rentals will also be $20.
