Joan Freedman of Hillel Day School Named a Top Teacher in Metro Detroit

Hillel Day School’s Director of Library Services, Joan Freedman, was named one of Metro Parent Magazine’s top five teachers of Metro Detroit.

The editors of Metro Parent Magazine pick the top five nominees from submissions made by readers every year.

Freedman, along with the rest of the top five, will be featured in the May issue with a photo spread and article.

There were hundreds of nominations every year so being chosen as one of the top five is a wonderful acknowledgement of the work these teachers do.

Freedman, a resident of West Bloomfield, has been at her position with Hillel Day School for 8 years.
