THE CERAMIC STUDIO ETC… IN HOWELL INTRODUCES A NEW AND EXCITING ACTIVITY – CORKS-N-CANVAS

Howell,
Michigan, November 8, 2012 – People are always looking for fun, new ways to
enjoy a night out with friends, a date or something to do by themselves.
Corks-n-Canvas is the answer, providing a fun canvas painting experience that
is affordable and can be done by anyone who desires an exciting and rewarding evening,
even if you have no painting experience.

The concept
of Corks-n-Canvas is that each person will complete a 16x20-inch canvas
painting by following step-by-step instructions and a pre-drawn pattern within
about a three hour period. This is done in a party-like atmosphere because you
are welcome to bring in your favorite munchies and beverages to get you in the
painting/party mood. Our Corks-n-Canvas program contains many designs ranging
from floral and trendy icons to holiday inspired themes – designs appropriate
and fun for everyone.

You select
the piece you would like to paint by registering for the session you would like
to attend from our Corks-n-Canvas schedule. Or if you have a group of six or
more people you may choose from one of our many designs and schedule your own
time. All participants are instructed to paint the specific piece that you
signed up for, however our guests may feel free to let their inner artist go
and paint the piece uniquely if they choose!

Corks-n-Canvas
nights are designed for ages 18 and up. We do have a Kids-n-Canvas for the
younger ages and families that are interested in having fun with art. A
Corks-n-Canvas session is usually $40 and includes instruction, the canvas,
entertainment and all materials needed to complete a 16x20 painting that you
can be proud of. This is for fun and to help you explore something you may not
have tried before. We know you will be surprised at what you can achieve!

The Ceramic
Studio Etc… is a do-it-yourself art studio for children and adults. We feature
paint-your-own-pottery, glass fusing, hand-built clay projects and now canvas
painting. You may walk in anytime to do a glass or ceramic project, attend a
workshop or pick up Ceramics-To-Go. We also schedule birthday parties, bachelorette
parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate events, or gatherings “just
