Take a fascinating tour of the Baron Glassworks in Ypsilanti, including a beginner glass-blowing class. Students will learn how to gather and manipulate molten glass, use small amounts of color in glass, work with different tools and make a variety of basic hollow forms. Ornaments, orbs, vases, drinking glasses and marbles are most commonly achieved at this level.
The tour will leave and return to the HVCA/Highland Station House, 205 W. Livingston Rd. in Highland. Cost includes transportation and entry fee or ticket to the event. Cost of meals is not included.
