Learn to carve fruit like the pros! Have you ever seen the beautiful fruit sculptures, fruit flowers, and vegetable animals on display at catered events and wished you knew how to create these items?
Believe it or not, fruit carving can be quite simple when you break it down into easy steps!
Gina will teach you, in a step-by-step manner, how to carve a beautiful and intricate “flower” on a cantaloupe from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28.

You’ll be amazed by your ability to create your own fruit carving!
Workshop is hands on and uses sharp cutlery – participants must be 18 years or older!
Each class participant will be provided tools to use during class; take your knife home for $7 (pre-pay or buy on class day).
Please wear an apron or appropriate clothing. Bring a small box or container to transport your cantaloupe if you’d like; all other materials including cutlery tools will be included in class fee.
Pre-registration is required. Class fee is $25 ($30 day of class). A minimum of four people is required for class to be held and a maximum of eight can be in the class. To register, contact the main office at 248-887-0012, ext. 0.
