Come lend nature a helping hand! Volunteers are needed to help collect native grass seed at Indian Springs Metropark.
The collected seeds will be used in future prairie restoration projects. Meet at the Environmental Discovery Center at 10 a.m. We will wrap up by 1 p.m.
Park entry is free for volunteers. Tools, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided. Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear long pants and closed toe shoes and to dress for the weather.
