Fun Science Experiments takes place at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 at Indian Springs Metropark Environmental Discovery Center.
Youngsters will have fun discovering how common materials work. Make homemade ph paper, “maple seed whirlies,” age a tree, see how a compass works, make invisible ink, and more. This is an indoor program. Open to children in the first grade and up.
Event Fee: $3 per child plus $5 per vehicle park entry fee without annual Metroparks pass (which is $25 for most and $15 for seniors).
