Horse Camps at Pontiac Lake Riding Stable

Horse camps take place for boys and girls ages 8-16 at Pontiac Lake Recreation Area's riding stable from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday at various times through Sept. 1.

Students bring their own own lunch.

-Aug. 1-4  

-Aug. 8 -11, which is full, so no more applications will be accepted

-Aug. 15-18

-Aug. 22-25

-Aug. 29-Sept. 1

Please call 248-904-4390 to verify availability of the session you are interested in attending. If a seven-year-old desires to take the class, he or she will need to take a riding lesson to see if he or she can adequately control the horse to be at camp.

Cost is $250 for the week. A $100 (non-refundable) deposit is required at the time you book.

If for some reason, you find your child cannot attend the session you have registerd for, you may transfer to another session, provided space is available in another session.

To register for one or more summer camp sessions, please print our registration form, fill it out and mail it to us along with a deposit check or money order for $100 per rider. Call for pricing when signing up for more than one session.

The rider release form will also need to be printed, filled out, signed by a parent or legal guardian and brought to the first session of camp.
