How to Identify Prairie Plants and Seeds

Join a naturalist to explore our area of prairie and savanna restoration during How to Identify Prairie Plants and their Seeds.

The event takes place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at Indian Springs Metropark Environmental Discovery Center. 

Learn how and why we are working to bring this special type of habitat back to the park. Also, head to areas “off the beaten path” and learn to identify prairie plant seeds. You may be able to help us collect them to aid in our restoration efforts! 

For ages 8 and up.

Event Fee: $3 per person plus park admission fee.
