Ice Fishing for Beginners takes place from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 at Kensington Metropark Nature Center.
This is a chance for beginners, ages six and older, to learn about ice fishing and then wet a line (ice conditions permitting). Bring ice fishing rods and dress for the weather. A fishing license is required for those 17 years of age and older.

Event Fee: $5 per person fishing plus $5 park entry fee per vehicle (free entry with annual Metroparks pass, which is $25/year for most and $15 for seniors).
