Summer Theater Camp

Time is limited to register for Lil’ Players Summer Theater Camp offered by Huron Valley Council for the Arts in conjunction with the Milford High School Theater and Music Department.

Designed for youth in grades three through five, the camp is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily July 18-22 in the Little Theater at Milford High School. The registration deadline is June 2.

Get your little actor inspired with this one-week camp. Students will touch on all aspects of the theater experience, including singing, choreography, and basic stage direction in a real theater setting. This camp is perfect for students that want to prepare for entering into their middle and high school choir and performing arts classes.

Theater Camp Director Megan Weeks and Music Director Maryann Lambrecht will be assisted by high school student mentors from performing arts, choir and Center Stage classes.

The week concludes with a performance for family and friends to come and enjoy. As an added bonus, all “campers” are invited to audition for the Milford High School Theater’s fall musical production of Honk, the story of The Ugly Duckling!
