The JDRF Metro Detroit & Southeast Michigan Chapter is hosting the 28th Annual Promise Ball at MGM Grand Detroit to help fund type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The evening's festivities begin with a lively cocktail reception followed by a sit down dinner skillfully prepared by the Executive Chef of MGM Grand Detroit. The evening also includes a super silent auction during the cocktail hour, a high-end live auction during dinner as well as JDRF's signature "auction of passion" known as Fund A Cure. Fund A Cure donations directly support research and are 100% tax deductible. The evening concludes with dancing and music provided by our favorite band, Intrigue. This high-visibility event attracts the most premier companies in Detroit, as well as high-net worth individuals who are corporate leaders, social influencers and consumers of luxury items.
T1D is a disease which strikes children and adults suddenly, making them insulin-dependent for life and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. JDRF's mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
