Fireworks Abuse!

Question for local police:
I have been hearing fire works go off all for weeks or should I say months now and now they are getting to be on a consistent basis starting at 8pm or so. This is huge a noise disturbance in my home to my child's sleep and now my dogs erratic barking. What kind of laws and regulations are being enforced or are enforced for this holiday. If I had it my way, fireworks would only be on July 4th. Not every single day before than. I used to love this holiday but there are others out there who continue to abuse the law and enjoy making  money off of this.
