Funeral Set for Woman Who Died in White Lake Murder-Suicide

The funeral for Lorian Handy, who died Monday in what police are calling a murder-suicide, will be held Friday in Grand Rapids.

According to her obituary on the Dignity Memorial website, the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, 2740 Fuller Ave N.E. in Grand Rapids.

Visitations will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday or from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church before the funeral service.

Handy, 33, was a graduate of Rockford High School and a engineering graduate from Ferris State University.

Handy is survived by her 8-year-old son, who was at home during the incident.
