Great Expressions Dental Centers Invites Students to Win Free Team Mouth Guards at 2013 Detroit River Days
Did you know that one third of all dental injuries are sports related? Mouth guards protect against injuries on the court or field like, chipped or broken teeth, fractured jaws, concussions and more. As part of an educational campaign to inform student athletes about the importance of mouth guard protection, Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC) is kicking off their first-ever mouth guard contest at Detroit River Days to award one lucky team with free custom mouth guards (up to 30 players).

GEDC realizes that not every athlete has the opportunity or the means to pursue a custom-fit mouth guard; however they are important. Getting your mouth guard fit to your mouth by a dentist guarantees the perfect fit, ensuring comfort and ease of breathing and speaking, which is critical for athletes. The better the mouth guard fits, the more protection against injuries like concussions or brain damage, fractured or lost teeth and cuts or bruises to the mouth.

GEDC’s team of dentists and staff are trained to offer mouth guards that provide superior fit, comfort and protection by using high quality material, molded to fit each mouth perfectly. GEDC is also able to customize the guards to coordinate with school colors, which is encouraged!
Visit the GEDC booth at River Days 2013 to learn more about custom mouth guards and how to enter your team into the contest. In addition to the mouth guard contest, there will also be a premium dental package giveaway, valued at more than $300.
