Highland woman gets relief from Meniere's Disease

It all started for Sherry Buist-Noren when she was so dizzy she could not get off the floor for several hours.  She had ringing in her left ear so bad that she often times couldn't hear anything else.  After 2 months of evaluations and drug therapy, Sherry finally got relief with specific upper cervical care at Awesome Chiropractic in Brighton.

People with Meniere’s, have been struggling with a combination of symptoms, typically, vertigo or dizziness, hearing loss and tinnitus or ringing in the ear.  Sadly, most people have these symptoms for some time before they are diagnosed.

Go online and you will probably find that Meniers’s Disease is incurable and only the symptoms can be treated.  That would follow hand in hand with the majority’s perspective.  Meniere’s Disease and neck trauma can go hand in hand.

In an upper neck misalignment, pressure begins to develop into the all important nerves at the base of the brain.  Brain stem pressure can lead to vertigo, hearing loss, ringing the ears as found with Meniere’s disease.  Upper Cervical Chiropractic care restores alignment of the upper neck after a head injury.

If you search Meniere’s and the upper neck, you will see the connection of head or neck trauma to the onset of Meniere’s symptoms.  This neck and head trauma subluxates the upper cervical vertebrae and chokes off the delicate nerves in the brain stem and spinal cord.  This trauma can be from a fall, hitting your head, a car accident, poor posture and many things.

Simple logic would say that if an specific upper cervical adjustment was applied to the misaligned vertebra, then the root cause of the problem would be corrected.  The person suffering from vertigo, hearing loss and ringing in the ears would notice awesome changes to these symptoms.

Sherry found this to be quite different from just treating the symptoms with medication that knocks her out.  The body is designed to be healthy and adapt to whatever you bring upon it.  If there is a problem, then there must be a cause for that problem.  Find the cause, in Meniere’s it is the upper neck misalignment, and correct it.

If you look at the National Institute of health’s website, you should see mentioned head injury as a possible cause http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001721/ but no mention of what to do about the head injury that may have caused the condition.   You will also see ear infections as a possible cause.  Just so you know, Awesome Upper Cervical Chiropractic Adjustments are proven to be extremely effective in helping people with chronic ear infections.

If you have been diagnosed with Meniere’s, call Dr. Robert Moore at Awesome Chiropractic today and seek out the cause of the problem.  (810) 225-7246
