Girls win 9-5, get first win of the season.
Huron Valley Girls Lacrosse team thumped Grand Blanc 9-5 in a KLAA game for their first win of the season Wednesday night.
Huron Valley jumped off to a quick start with goals by KT Russell and Leah Krieger. After taking a time out, Grand Blanc came back to score 2 goals midway through the first half.
With a 4-2 lead at the half, Huron Valley's mid fielder Caitlin Wojichowski came out and scored two quick goals in the second half to seal the win. Wojichowski had three goals to lead all scorers in the KLAA win.

Coach Tara Johnson was pleased with the win, "We relaxed and played our game. We dictated the tempo which was the key to the win," she said.
Looking to the next game, Coach Johnson said, "We need to cycle catching and passing while moving."

With the win, Huron Valley evens its record at 1-1 on the season.
