IN BRIEF: Lakeland Finishes Second Straight Perfect League Season
Eagles golf team throttles Walled Lake Central 146-166; finish 20-0 in KLAA North the last two years.
Freshman Alex Kleckner shot a 34 and senior Ty Bouwens fired a 35 as the Lakeland boys' golf team defeated Walled Lake Central 146-166 Friday afternoon at Edgewood Country Club in Commerce Township.
The win gave the Eagles a second consecutive perfect 10-0 record, following up on last season's perfect divisional mark in the KLAA North. Jake Kneen added a 37 and Justin Pahl finished with a 40 in the victory. Lakeland will compete in districts Thursday at Dunham Hills in Hartland.
