Jake's Women, presented by Two Muses Theatre

With Jake’s Women, Neil Simon makes another hilarious foray into the world of modern relationships. Jake, a novelist who has better luck with fiction than real life, daydreams about the women in his life. The wildly comic and sometimes moving flashbacks played in his mind about his revered late wife and his daughter as a child are interrupted by visitations from his actual wife who is leaving him, his now older daughter, his bossy sister, an opinionated analyst and a prospective third wife. The LA Times called it “one of Simon’s best.”

Performances are Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and Sunday afternoons at 2pm, Nov 14 - Dec 7.

Founded in November 2011 by Diane Hill and Barbie Weisserman, Two Muses Theatre is a nonprofit, professional theatre dedicated to increasing opportunities for female artists and artisans. All funds raised from performances and educational workshops go directly into maintaining the theatre and contributing to charitable organizations centered on women and families.
