Join us for this year's JARC SpringElation fundraiser, an all-inclusive and private evening at The Detroit Zoo on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 6Β p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy a picnic dinner and dessert catered byΒ Quality Kosher Catering (dietary laws observed), free parking, and access to many of the Zoo's popular exhibits and attractions, including rides on the Carousel and Tauber Family Railroad. Live entertainment will be provided by StarTrax and there will be a special opportunity to get your picture taken with PAWS, the Detroit Tigers mascot. Door prizesΒ will be given away and the event will also feature crafts and games with prizes for kids.
All proceeds raised at this family community event will benefit hundreds of children with disabilities, including autisim, developmental delays and physical and emotional disabilities, and their families. JARC's services for children withΒ
disabilities include in-home respite by trained caregivers, social opportunities for teens, and advocacy with schools and agencies on behalf of families.
